About the building

Kontorhäuser are typical of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein; they were built between 1886 and 1938 and served as pure office buildings for companies. With its clinker brick façade and generous windows with grey profiles, the 7nine is the modern interpretation of a traditional Hamburg Kontorhaus, leaving nothing to be desired in terms of comfortable, modern working.

On the rear façade, the building surprises with its spacious balconies, which can be accessed from every lettable unit. Across more than 11.000 m² of office space and seven light-filled storeys, modern, high-quality office space is being created by mid-2023, adaptable to any way of working, whether individual offices for law firms or open space for agencies, combined with areas for exchange and communication.

The top floor also has a loggia and a roof terrace with views over the green waterside surroundings, but this has unfortunately already been let. In future, 80% of the building will be used by the energy group E.ON, so the energy level at the 7nine at Berliner Tor will always be high! ;-)
