About the building

Speicherblock N was designed, and this will please HSV fans, in 1887. Since then it has indeed been used as a cocoa warehouse. Another special feature of this warehouse is its direct connection to the Kibbelstegbrücke. The nearest rail station from here is "Überseequartier" (U4), and with "Magellan-Terrassen" (bus 111) and "Auf dem Sande" (bus 6) you also have two bus stops within walking distance. The absolute highlight, finally, is the market hall on the ground floor of the building. Here you can get anything your palate desires every day, from döner to currywurst and schnitzel through to the flavours of India.

Under the roof of the warehouse, on the fifth and sixth floors, the first live/work offices in the Speicherstadt have been created. You may also use up to a maximum of 49 % of these for residential purposes. The lower level, serving as the working level and containing the main entrance, has a storage room as well as an open kitchen with white high-gloss units, a ceramic hob, sink and fridge.
