About the building

Built in 2012, the Ericus-Contor is located at the centre of Hamburg's future. Whether the Elbphilharmonie, the Deichtorhallen, the Speicherstadt, the city centre with the Hauptbahnhof or the Lohsepark, the largest green space in this corner of the city. The Ericus-Contor also acts today as a hinge and interface between the inner city and HafenCity. The office space at the Ericusspitze will, where necessary, be fitted out and prepared entirely in line with the tenant's requirements. Otherwise, the individual floors offer a great deal of daylight thanks to the façade, as well as modern working environments.

Considerable space for creative work is being created, for example, in the Oberhafenquartier, which covers almost 70,000 m² and is only around 10 minutes' walk from the Ericus-Contor. Immediately to the east lies the development area of the former wholesale market, and to the south, on the far side of the Norderelbe, the Grasbrook. A new district will be built here over the next 15 years, with 16,000 workplaces and around 3,000 flats. So even more life for HafenCity.
