The office building at Schaartor, dating from the late 1960s, occupies an attractive corner site between HafenCity and the Altstadt. Surrounded by the Herrengrabenfleet and Alsterfleet, the location offers water views as far as the eye can see. For a break during lunch or after work, the Elbpromenade is ideal for a walk. Step out of the door and you will get a breath of harbour air at its best. Public transport connections are also ideal: the Baumwall underground station is a few minutes' walk away, and the well-known Portugiesenviertel offers something for every taste when it comes to food and drink.

The building was fully refurbished in 2014. The result is impressive: bright, spacious rooms and, in addition, an accessible roof terrace for all tenants of the building with views across the city. Further measures were taken to make the building sustainable and to give it new appeal; for example, the ground-floor façade was revitalised in a tasteful, minimalist style. This gold and black design is also reflected in the entrance area, the lift system and the stairwell. The 1960s character has been retained, in a modern and charming way. The use of contemporary elements gives the office building its very special character and, in addition, superb views over Hamburg and the Elbe.
