Own acquisition meets off-market: we approached Gleiss Lutz, identified the requirement and went directly to the developer of the Görtz-Palais on Neuer Wall. Eleven months of negotiation until the perfect law firm space was found.

Mandate

Gleiss Lutz did not come to us through an enquiry, but through our own approach. This meant we knew the requirements for the Hamburg location at an early stage: a dedicated, prestigious office building in a prime location.

Match

The Görtz-Palais on Neuer Wall was not yet on the market. We approached the project developer at the time directly and brought both sides together before the space was ever publicly offered.

Negotiation

Through a change of use on the prestigious first floor and eleven months of negotiations with the landlord over the expansion, the perfectly tailored solution took shape.

Outcome

Around 2 500 m², occupied following a high-quality fit-out, let before the space was ever publicly on the market. This was followed by the mandate to sublet one floor; a few months later the building was fully let.
