An owner-managed agency deliberately downsizes, and finds a ground floor with character in Ottensen.

Working from home is part of everyday life in the digital sector. AHOII wanted to deliberately downsize its office without compromising on quality. The brief: a feel-good office on the other side of the Alster.

Shortlist

Instead of a long list, two properties in Ottensen were in focus from the outset, both matching the agency's taste and requirements. In the end, two viewings were all it took to decide.

Decision

Although Ottensen wasn't even under consideration at first, the choice fell on the Lofthouse at Stahltwiete 20: a ground floor of around 280 m², high ceilings, an open kitchen, a high-quality fit-out and a terrace.

Outcome

New Work and open space in the heart of Hamburg-Ottensen, smaller than before, but just right.
