About the building

The Metropolishaus is located directly at the Staatsoper in Hamburg-Neustadt. The setting between Gänsemarkt and Stephansplatz, and the long-distance station Dammtor, gives your new office space excellent connections to local and long-distance transport - catching a train to Berlin or Munich is just a few minutes' walk away.

From the outside, the building follows in the tradition of the Hanseatic Kontorhäuser with its mix of brick façade and floor-to-ceiling windows, while the interior offers two light-filled atria and remarkably bright office space. Lifts or an open staircase lead to the upper floors. The floor plan allows for all layout types - currently you will find a great deal of open space, but individual or two-person offices can also be implemented without difficulty.

Terraces and balconies are found on almost every floor. From the 6th floor upwards, these are often several hundred square metres in size. So there is not only room to step out for some fresh air, but also space for a beach chair or two, or tables for a sunny lunch break with colleagues.

Alongside flexibly usable offices, the Metropolishaus houses a cinema and the popular burger chain Jim Block. But do not worry - thanks to a good extraction system, you will not be tempted by the smell of hamburgers upstairs.
