About the building

The GALLERIA was designed by the Swiss architects Trix and Robert Hausmann and officially opened in 1983; in 2018 it was even listed as a protected historic building. With its black-and-white marble floors and illuminated pillars, the arcade, modelled on Italian Renaissance architecture, conveys a certain Mediterranean elegance. The preservation of the building is therefore in the public interest of Hamburg's city centre, for both historical and artistic reasons.

The office space on the upper floors of the building extends across a total of 3 sections. You can choose between the canal side, the central tower and the rooms facing Große Bleichen, each with approx. 330 m², or simply rent everything at once! The fit-out and layout of the office space will be arranged in close consultation with you; depending on the term of your lease, the rooms can be fitted in part with glass walls to provide a corresponding sense of transparency and brightness.

Whether it's popular restaurants, made-to-measure fashion, a new haircut or an after-work aperitif at Bar Tabac: the GALLERIA is a mini city within the city. And if the weather is good and you fancy a light snack by the water, you don't have to walk all the way to the Alster, because from April to October the GALLERIA Ponton is open and becomes a sought-after terrace directly on the Bleichenfleet. In addition, you are in the middle of Hamburg's shopping mecca: Große Bleichen, Poststraße, Jungfernstieg and Neuer Wall are all just around the corner.
