About the building
The listed Flüggerhaus is an office building (Kontorhaus) constructed in 1908 in the middle of Hamburg's Altstadt. The eight-storey office and commercial building on Rödingsmarkt forms part of the historic building ensemble Flüggerhöfe, which is undergoing extensive refurbishment and revitalisation. Rest assured, the charm and the historic features of the building will of course be preserved. All parts of the ensemble are connected by a spacious, planted courtyard.
From Q2/2026, bright and welcoming loft offices will be created in the Flüggerhaus behind a historic façade, of a kind rarely found in the heart of the city. The spaces will be fitted out to a high standard, modern and technically state of the art, in line with your wishes and requirements. A particular highlight is the building's own paternoster lift, which is, incidentally, the oldest paternoster in the world. Yes, in the world!
