About the building
A homage to life! That is truly no exaggeration when you look at the magnificent façades and decorated courtyards of the listed Stadthöfe. Today's Palaishaus was completed in 1891 as an extension to the neighbouring Görtz-Palais, which was used by the Hamburg police. During an Allied bombing raid at the end of July 1943, large parts of the buildings on Neuer Wall and Stadthausbrücke were destroyed. The surviving façade was restored in the 1950s, and the collapsed sections of the building were replaced by an office building.
Between 2015 and 2019, the entire Stadthöfe site in Hamburg-Neustadt was redeveloped, supplemented by new buildings, and modern office space was created behind the historic façade. You have the rare opportunity to become part of this ensemble of Hamburg history. The modern office space currently has a strongly cellular layout and is particularly well suited to law firms, tax advisers and auditors. However, opening up the existing structure is also conceivable, provided you are prepared to enter into a long-term lease.
