About the building

The elegantly structured commercial and office building on Neuer Wall, built around 1908, impresses not only with its distinctive Art Nouveau façade in ashlar and the plain canal-side elevations with ceramic cladding. Also typical of the period are the ribbon windows on the first floor, still with their original metal supports, which extend the shop window zone across two storeys. The individual office floors were of course likewise fitted with large window elements.

In addition, access to Hamburg's Neustadt by bus and rail or by car is known to be very good. Otherwise, either Jungfernstieg or Große Bleichen will provide you with everything needed for day-to-day requirements. Alongside a pleasant roof terrace, further highlights include three lions on the roof of the building.
